Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Shifts - Panama days (3s & 2s)
Location - Worksop
Salary - 36000k + OTE (to be increased after probation)
Our client specialises within the food industry. This site inparticular manufactures a range of sandwiches, wraps and rolls for on the go purposes. As it stands they are producing over 400,000 units a day.
With numerous sites across the uk and a turnover of over £1 billion, they are consistantially growing to become the largest food maniufacturers within the uk.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for three key areas; Reactive Maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance and Installation Project work. Breakdowns take priority to ensure the plant is kept running, with the rest of the week focused on PPMs and Project work.
The duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be predominantially electrical tasks, however, mechanical faults will still occur which you will be expected to take on. Main day to day duties include: fault finding using a multimeter against electrical drawings, going through panels, swapping sensors/motors like for like, checking for wear and tear, checking inputs and outputs and checking HMI screens.
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have a recognised Electrical Qualification.
- Must have experience performing electrical maintenance in a food environment
- Must have experience working within fmcg
- Must be happy to work within a food environment
- Must be happy to work panama days
