The role

Vision for Education are looking for a SEND Primary teacher to work in client school in Scunthorpe. This is a full time, temporary role. The role starts in February 2024 on a long-term basis, with the chance for it to go permanent.

The successful SEND primary teacher will have excellent behaviour management skills and have extensive experience working in SEND setting. You must also be willing to support students no matter what they need and have their best interests at mind to give them the best education possible. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and recent experience of teaching in primary school.

This schools specialises in offering support to primary and secondary aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

To be considered for the position of SEND Primary Teacher, you will:

Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for the progress of SEND primary school pupils.
Be flexible and adaptable to work in different classrooms or with different students as required. Demonstrate the ability to adjust teaching approaches and strategies to meet individual student needs.
Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
