Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager - Construction, Salary up to £40-46k + Car, Uncapped Commission, Contributory Pension Scheme, Excellent Benefits, Field based role covering the North East of the UK, candidates to be based anywhere on patch.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager to work for an industry leading and global business who specialise in modular building solutions - this role sits within the modular building hire team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the construction or modular cabin hire sector, with a proven track record of delivering results in a target driven field sales role.

The role of Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager:

Hunting for and developing specific leads from your allocated portfolio into major company accounts.
Growing the relationships and revenue of the accounts identified as key growth customers .
Developing new opportunities from the pool of customers identified as target development accounts.
Identifying opportunities for new products and services that will strengthen the offering to customers and deliver a good return on investment.
Delivering quality sales proposals in response to tenders and enquiries from customers.
Ensuring clear boundaries and hand-offs are followed on a day to day basis.
Candidate Requirements:

Experience in a Field Sales Executive / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager or similar Role within construction, modular cabin hire or similar.
Experience of delivering results against targets
Track record of success selling high value solutions
