Overview

As a Junior Acoustic Consultant, you'll be joining a team of industry experts who are dedicated to delivering high-quality acoustic solutions across a range of sectors, including environmental, architectural, and industrial projects. Responsibilities

In this role, you'll be involved in:

Conducting noise and vibration assessments for a variety of projects.
Preparing technical reports and providing recommendations to clients.
Assisting with environmental impact assessments and planning applications.
Using specialist software to model and predict acoustic performance.
Supporting senior consultants on-site with surveys and measurements.
Staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
A strong understanding of acoustic principles and their practical applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an eagerness to learn specialist software.
A full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain one).
A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day might include:

Heading out to project sites to conduct noise and vibration surveys.
Collaborating with colleagues to analyse data and create detailed reports.
Meeting with clients to discuss project requirements and provide updates.
