Role Overview:

Teach engaging and well-planned Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for KS5 in some schools

Deliver subject-specialist teaching in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, according to your expertise

Foster analytical thinking, scientific literacy, and a love for experimentation through hands-on learning

Utilise diverse teaching strategies and up-to-date resources to support a range of learner needs

Track student progress through effective assessment and provide constructive feedback to enhance outcomes

Contribute to the development of an inspiring and inclusive Science curriculum

Get involved in extracurricular enrichment such as science fairs, clubs, and STEM outreach initiatives

What We're Looking For:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Confident subject knowledge and curriculum understanding in Science

Creative and adaptable teaching style that supports students of varying abilities

Strong classroom presence with excellent communication and organisational skills

Passionate about promoting STEM learning and raising student aspirations

Eager to be part of a collaborative and ambitious department

Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers looking for a new challenge
