About the Role:
Nurse Care 24 is proud to be partnering with a leading provider of children's residential care services in their search for a dedicated and experienced Responsible Individual (RI). This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation that is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children, ensuring they are supported in a safe, nurturing, and high-quality care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership & Compliance: Oversee the strategic management of multiple children's residential homes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.

* Operational Management: Support Registered Managers in the effective running of homes, ensuring that the highest standards of care and safety are maintained.

* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.

* Safeguarding: Uphold and promote the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring all staff are fully trained and compliant.

* Staff Development: Lead, mentor, and develop care teams, fostering a positive and professional working environment.

* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with external partners, including local authorities, families, and regulatory bodies.

* Financial Oversight: Ensure homes operate within budget while maintaining the quality of care and service delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience in a senior leadership role within children's residential care.

* Comprehensive knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams.

* Deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.

* Excellent organisational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex situations effectively.

* A relevant qualification in social work, childcare, or a related field is highly desirable.
