This will be an immediate start undertaking food hygiene inspections. The officer must be qualified in order to fulfil the full range of inspection criteria.

Expectation:

A Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health or Higher Cert in Food Control or The Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control
Drives
Inspecting within the Borough at least 4 days a week
Able to start within 2 weeks
Uses own initiative
Work their way through a back log of inspections and set targets
Capture inspections adequately and give associated rating
Record detail on Idox
Work under pressure
Can manage conflict
Potential for evening and weekend work (negotiable)
