A highly regarded independent school in Somerset is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic DT Teacher to join its Design & Engineering Department from September 2025. The school places great emphasis on practical and creative problem-solving, innovation, and sustainability in design.

The department has excellent specialist resources including a CAD suite, laser cutters, and CNC machinery. You will teach across KS3 to A-Level, working with highly motivated students and supporting several extracurricular competitions, such as Young Engineer of the Year and the Arkwright Scholarship programme.

Experience and Qualifications
• Relevant DT/Engineering degree and PGCE/QTS
• Experience teaching Product Design and/or Systems and Control
• Skilled in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, 2D Design)
• Enthusiastic about creative thinking and sustainability in design
• Right to work in the UK
