Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in tthe City of London. CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building located near City Thameslink. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with a small maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM & reactive maintenance.

4 on 4 off - 07:00 - 19:00 & 19:00 - 07:00 

Requirements

City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
Multi-skilled
Good communication skills

Mechanical duties

Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing

AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans

Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)

Motors - PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)

Water treatment - dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing

Water pressurization units

Chlorifiers - annual inspection, de-scaling

Steam Plant

Condensers, Condenser Returns

Cooling towers

Softeners

Humidifiers

Hydraulics

Pneumatics

Boilers - re-sets

Chillers - re-sets, 1st Line faults
