Freezer Warehouse Operative 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Freezer Warehouse Operative/Picker and Packer to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton.

Shifts:

• 4 on 4 off – Days: 07:00 – 19:00
• 4 on 4 off – Nights: 19:00 – 07:00

Rates of Pay:

• Days: £13.56 per hour
• Nights: £15.85 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Picking frozen food items using voice-pick technology in -21°C conditions
• Operating MHE including Reach and Counterbalance FLT
• Moving, sorting, and organising stock within the warehouse
• Wrapping and securing completed pallets for despatch
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out additional warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills:

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative you will need:

• Previous experience working in a freezer environment
• Voice-pick and system-picking experience
• MHE experience (PPT, Reach, or Counterbalance)
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Reliability and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous 4 on 4 off and/or night shift experience (preferred)

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in a freezer or chilled warehouse environment

Training:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
