Join our client at a leading manufacturing facility near Hitchin, who are looking for an experienced Toolmaker to be a part of their forward thinking business.

Hours: Full-time, 41.5 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
Overtime availableMain Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize manual milling machines, lathes, surface and cylindrical grinders.
Operate manual and CNC spark eroders, as well as CNC wire eroders.
Perform modification and repair tasks on Injection Mould Tools.
Manufacture and fit new injection mould tools.
Use hand tools such as files, hacksaws, and grinders.
Wire Hot runner systems and conduct fault finding.
Work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safety.Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in Toolmaking and high precision machining.
Familiarity with fitting and assembly of complex mould tools, including repair.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a small team.
Proficiency in general toolmaking, milling, grinding, and fitting.
Experience with EDM Wire and spark erosion, CNC Machining skills are advantageous.Benefits:
