Band 6 Locum Community Occupational Therapist - Integrated Therapy Service

Location: Orpington, BR6
Salary: Up to £30 per hour

Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Integrated Therapy Service based at Central Court, Orpington (BR6). This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, for an initial 3-6 month contract, with potential for extension.

Key Requirements:

* HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

* Car driver with access to own vehicle

Experience in:

* Moving and handling assessments (including complex equipment provision)

* Seating assessments

* OT assessments such as bathing and equipment provision

* Goal setting and risk documentation

Duties will include:

* Conducting moving and handling assessments and producing documentation and risk assessments

* Delivering OT assessments and recommending appropriate equipment

* Supporting clients in achieving personal and functional goals

* Liaising with multidisciplinary teams as part of the Integrated Therapy Service
