The Company
A long-established business that specialises in the manufacture of components for various sectors including the Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Defense industries due to continuous expansion, they are actively hiring for an experienced nightshift CNC Turner as are looking to expand the engineering team.

The role will be covering the night shift 04:30 - 03:30 Mon-Weds, 04:30 - 01:30 pm on Thursdays.

The Candidate
Proven time served experience in programming, setting, and operating 2-axis turning machines.

Excellent working knowledge of 2-axis CNC machines, cutting speeds and feeds, and geometric tolerances.

Solid understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and standards.

Experience with Fanuc controls would be advantageous.

Worked within a machine shop environment.

Have a hands-on, quality-driven, positive, self-motivated manner in order to be able to hit the ground running

Salary
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £37,000 plus a shift premium at time and a third depending on whether a candidate can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
