SEN Learning Mentor - Full Time Position

SALARY: £16100 - £18100/annum

Keep Education is recruiting for a SEN Learning Mentor to work in a school in the High Wycombe area, on a fulltime basis. The ideal candidate will be supporting young people, aged 11-19, with Specific Learning Difficulties and a range of behavioural challenges. We would specifically like to hear from educators who are experienced within the SEN sector who are enthusiastic, caring and creative.
The Role:
* Fulltime position - 8.30 am - 4 pm
* Immediate start
* To assist with planning, organising and supervision educational visits and outings
* Supporting pupils in group lessons as well as on a 1-1 basis, delivering individual curriculum targets and elements of the wider curriculum
* To support the development of individual learning programmes on a daily basis
* Able to support and instil positive behaviour
The Candidate:
* Must have a holistic approach helping to create tailor made curriculums suited to each of our students' unique needs.
* Basic First Aid
* Good English and Numeracy
* GNVQ Level 2 or equivalent
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Team Teach/Restraint training is essential , further training and induction package available
