Nursery Chef - Monday to Friday (9am-3pm)

Salary: £12.50-£14 per hour

Term-Time Only or All Year Round

We are recruiting a Nursery Chef to join a warm, friendly early years setting. This role is perfect for someone who loves cooking nutritious meals and supporting children's wellbeing in a calm, well-organised kitchen environment.

About the Role:

Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5

Follow dietary needs, allergies and portion guidelines

Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

Work closely with the Nursery Manager to plan weekly menus

Ensure all food safety standards are met

Hours:

Monday to Friday

9:00am - 3:00pm

Term-time only or all-year-round contract available

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook/chef (nursery or school setting ideal)

Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and safe kitchen practices

Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
