Are you an experienced Stores Operative with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to warehouse operations? We're recruiting on behalf of a reputable manufacturing client in Coatbridge, and this could be your next great opportunity!

Monday to Friday, 07:45 - 16:15
(Some flexibility may be required to meet business needs)

Job Purpose

To ensure all purchased goods are received in good condition, booked into the system accurately, and stored or issued efficiently to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and check incoming goods both physically and on ERP (MFG Pro) system
Ensure all items are labelled and stored in designated locations
Issue materials and consumables to production as per service level agreements
Manage consumable stock levels and reorder when necessary
Highlight urgent receipts and defective items to the appropriate teams
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure good housekeeping in the stores area
Raise and send non-inventory orders to suppliers
Provide cover for other team members within the logistics team as needed

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Previous warehouse/stores experience
Valid forklift license
Manual handling awareness
Computer literate (familiarity with ERP systems preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
Ability to work well independently and within a teamDesirable:

Basic Excel skills
Dangerous Goods training
Experience in a manufacturing environmentLocation:

Coatbridge - easily accessible by public transport and car
