A very cool growing Agency is looking for a Commercial Financial Controller to join their team. You will be managing a 1 junior and reporting directly in to the MD. This will suit someone who's worked in SMEs and enjoys a hands on role!

Financial Management

• Oversee month-end reporting: payroll, VAT, creditors, debtors, and reconciliations
• Ensure client billing and invoicing is prompt, accurate, and compliant with contracts
• Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and systems

Management Reporting

• Produce meaningful management reports that drive commercial performance
• Ensure all client teams receive monthly performance updates
• Identify overservicing, utilisation issues, and project profitability risks and address them quickly
• Set revenue and profitability targets, tracking progress closely

Commercial Leadership

• Partner with client teams to improve profitability and efficiency
• Support fee/scope negotiations and staffing decisions using data insights
• Review and advise on client contracts and new business proposals
• Lead ‘Sales Meetings’ with client teams to review figures and opportunities
• Ensure all teams understand and comply with commercial agreements
