Our client is the longstanding owner of a beautiful pub, steeped in History and based in Nuthampstead. Due to their success, they are growing further, buying a previously closed village pub with a superb garden and stunning views, 10 minutes down the road in Great Chishill.
They have taken on this project with vigour and much support from the local community and have been working hard to renovate the property to open in April.
They are currently seeking a competent Sous Chef who is enthusiastic, professional and has a passion for cooking fresh food with locally sourced produce.
As Sous Chef you will be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly. A 'can-do' attitude, excellent food prep, food hygiene and attention to detail are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a few years' experience in a similar food environment as Sous Chef or Chef De Partie.

Salary £24k-£26k depending on experience.
