Shifts - Nights (Flexi Start & Finish Time)

Location: Caerphilly

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Hygiene Manager to lead and develop our hygiene team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You'll play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance, and food safety across the site, working closely with both Technical and Operations departments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support a team of hygiene operatives (2 day operatives, 3 night operatives).

Conduct regular hygiene audits across all site areas.

Ensure all cleaning schedules are followed in line with the production plan.

Perform deep cleaning of drains, high-level areas, and site storage locations.

Carry out environmental swabbing as required.

Promptly address any hygiene-related incidents or non-conformances.

Maintain clear and accurate records of audits, inspections, and team training.

Collaborate with Technical and Operations teams to meet hygiene and food safety standards.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a hygiene management role within a food manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety protocols, including HACCP.

Relevant food safety or hygiene qualifications desirable.

Able to hit the ground running with confidence and initiative.

Experience in leading, training, and motivating teams across different shifts
