Prospero Teaching is working with a small, single-sex independent faith secondary school in Salford that is looking to appoint a dedicated Design Technology Teacher. This is a part-time, four-day-a-week role starting in September 2025, offering small class sizes and a supportive teaching environment.

Position: Design Technology Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)
Start: September 2025
Contract: Part-time (4 days per week), Temp-to-Perm
Location: Salford
Pay: £162.31 to £251.71 per day (depending on experience)You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, focusing on creativity, problem-solving, and practical application. Projects may include elements of product design, resistant materials, and graphics, depending on the curriculum and school resources.

👩‍🏫 About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
A degree in Design Technology or a related subject
Recent experience teaching DT in a UK secondary school (references required)
Up-to-date safeguarding & Prevent training (or willingness to complete free training with us)
