Yard & Warehouse Co-Ordinator
Progression Opportunity to Warehouse Team Leader

Are you proactive, organised, and ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a Yard & Warehouse Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team — with a clear path to progress into a Team Leader role after initial training.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for preparing and organising customer orders for dispatch (by date and route), loading/unloading vehicles, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. You will also support the smooth flow of goods and communications across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Organise and prepare loads for trunk routes and customer collections.

* Load and unload vehicles, including internal, customer, supplier, and third-party transport.

* Maintain a clean and safe yard and warehouse at all times.

* Liaise with warehouse, stores, and transport teams to ensure operational efficiency.

* Manage yard vehicle movements to reduce congestion and improve turnaround.

* Handle returns and ensure all materials are protected from damage.

* Debrief returning drivers and manage associated paperwork.

* Report hazards, near-misses, and equipment faults promptly.

What We're Looking For:

* Forklift Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence (essential).

* Experience in a warehouse or yard environment (preferred).

* Physically fit and able to handle regular lifting and outdoor tasks.

* Calm under pressure with strong multitasking skills.

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

* A proactive attitude with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.

* Health & Safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday - from 40 hours per week (day shift)

* Overtime available
