Our Outstanding school in the vibrant borough of Barking, London, seeks a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Teacher of Drama to join our thriving Arts department from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to focus your passion for drama within a flexible work schedule in a high-achieving school serving the Barking community.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in our Barking school.
* Fostering students' creativity, confidence, and communication skills through drama within the Barking context.
* Contributing to the school's extracurricular drama provision in Barking.
* Collaborating effectively with colleagues within the Arts department in Barking.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Drama or a related field.
* Successful experience teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* A passion for theatre and the ability to inspire students in Barking.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with an understanding of the local Barking community being beneficial.
