Operations Manager - Greater Manchester

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (DOE)

If you're an Operations Manager who likes a challenge and is passionate about improving people and processes, then this might be for you!

This isn't a 'business as usual' role. The site has gone through significant investment and change. There are plenty of positives but they're still facing some challenges. They're now looking for a period of stability and strong leadership, which is where you come in.

About the Role:

* Collaborating with colleagues in the senior team and wider business to deliver and support site strategy.

* Leading the production team from the front to drive engagement and performance

* Assessing and reshaping your team, so it is fit for purpose, with the right people, skills and resources in place.

* Coaching, mentoring and developing your team with a focus on succession planning.

* Identify and implement new, improved ways of working to drive performance and efficiencies.

About You:

You'll need to have a background in food manufacturing and we're keen to hear from anybody with the following skills and experience:

* Proven leadership skills, with demonstrable experience of developing and improving teams, succession planning, and performance management.

* A proactive, CI focused mindset - somebody who can identify and solve problems.

* Change management - able to take people with through periods of change.

* Collaborative approach, able to develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
