ICU Sister/Charge Nurse

We're on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced ITU Sister/Charge Nurse to join our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ITU) at a private hospital in Birmingham. This full-time role comes with a generous salary of up to £50,000 and a fantastic benefits package. Plus, there's a £3,000 welcome bonus if you've completed a 60 credit postgraduate critical care course. As an ITU Sister/Charge Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading your team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care.
• Acting as a role model for our values, ensuring all your patients' physical and emotional needs are met.
• Using your expert leadership skills to coach, mentor and engage with your team.
• Leading the unit in the absence of the ICU Lead.
• Coaching and mentoring junior members of staff to help them progress.

The ideal ITU Sister/Charge Nurse candidate will:

• Be a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Have completed a post-graduate Critical Care Course (60 credits).
• Have Cardiac or General ITU experience.

This role could be a great fit if you've previously worked as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, ICU Nurse, Charge Nurse/Sister in ITU, or Senior ITU Nurse.
