The Best Connection are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Assembly Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence in the Kirkby-in-Ashfield area. This is a varied role involving warehouse duties, driving the FLT, and assembly work within a busy manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• General picking and packing of orders
• Heavy lifting as required
• Assembly work, including the use of air tools and power tools
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting wider warehouse and production teams as needed

Working Hours & Pay Rate:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.71 per hour in April
• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred, especially in roles requiring attention to detail and manual handling.
