Role: Mid/Senior Developer - Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite in Warrington or York, rest remote)
Duration: 6 months (likely extension)

We are seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Developer to join a large digital experience programme. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing transformation of customer-facing applications, ensuring best practices in development and deployment are followed.

Responsibilities:

Support the transition from project-based delivery to product-focused development.

Embed disciplined code promotion processes and improve CI/CD practices.

Drive improvements in code quality and maintainability.

Enhance application observability, including logging and monitoring.

Provide technical guidance and advocate for best development practices.

Essential Skills:

Strong knowledge of JavaScript & TypeScript.

Experience with Next.js and Node.js.

Familiarity with Git flow branching strategy.

Development experience with Azure Function Apps.

Proficiency in GitHub Enterprise.

Hands-on experience deploying and hosting apps in Azure.

Agile/Scrum team experience.

Strong documentation skills with Markdown.

Desirable Skills:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, ideally with Bicep.
