Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor – London-based Council£25.74 PAYE / £34.00 Umbrella/Deemed (Inside IR35)37 hours per week3–6 month ongoing contractWe are currently seeking an experienced Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor to join a London-based Council on a contract basis. You will be responsible for carrying out property inspections, diagnosing repairs, and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.Responsibilities:

• Conduct property surveys and diagnose repairs, defects, and maintenance requirements
• Apply extensive knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates codes when scoping works
• Record survey data using PDA devices and other IT systems
• Liaise with contractors, tenants, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of works
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council standards
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Proven surveying experience within housing repairs and maintenance
• Extensive knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates
• Experience using PDAs and strong general IT skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence desirable
