Deputy Nursery Manager – Up to £33,000
The nursery operates across age-specific rooms and a large outdoor space used throughout the day. As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff supervision, room organisation, and the delivery of high-quality early years practice. This is a hands-on role where you will still work with children directly while taking responsibility for maintaining standards and ensuring smooth operations.

What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Recent experience in a supervisory or senior nursery role
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development

What You’ll Do
- Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily running of the nursery
- Lead and mentor practitioners across rooms to maintain high standards
- Act as key person for a group of children and contribute to their learning and development
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS
- Monitor observations, assessments, and learning records across rooms
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Assist in staff scheduling, room organisation, and operational decision-making
