Reed Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company.

Job Role

Work safely as part of a two‑person team supporting the heat treatment of rotating shaft components. The job also includes cutting metal products and samples to length.

Main Duties

Safely move materials using cranes and FLTs
Load and unload furnaces
Operate saws to cut material and samples
Carry out Brinell hardness testing
Follow QA instructions and keep product ID correct
Follow all health and safety rules at all times
Load and unload vehicles and assist with despatch
Update the computer system when jobs are complete
