Executive Assistant to Managing Director
Must have experience as an EA in private equity or management consultancy
Frankfurt
An American private equity firm is seeking a new Executive Assistant for their Frankfurt office. A fantastic firm, offering challenging positions for great Executive Assistants, paying a higher salary than the market average, and generous bonus and package. The role will be based in the office for 4 days per week with one day working from home.
You must have experience working as an Executive Assistant in private equity or management consultancy!
THE FIRM
The Frankfurt office is extremely well established, with lovely offices near the Alte Oper. They work hard to make it a great environment and people are happy to be around each other with a wonderful EA team. Standard hours are 9am - 6pm , in the office 4 days per week, with one day working from home. They don't tend to work overtime and enjoy a good work life balance, but always go the extra mile when needed. They enjoy off-sites as a business in Europe and hold events with the other European and US colleagues periodically to keep everyone connected. The business language is German, but you must be confident with English (business professional level ideal).
THE ROLE
A team mentality is needed to assist your colleagues when needed, but this role supports primarily one MD, and also the possibility to support another if you wish. The MD is busy and needs a first-class EA to take full ownership of his diary and inbox, proactively arrange meetings, schedule trips and communicate with investors and portfolio companies on his behalf. The knowledge / pace that is required when working for PE firms / management consultancies would work well to transfer to this role, and so this is the background the MD is asking for. You will have the opportunity to be very involved! You sometimes must push back on certain demands if other tasks take priority and be confident in doing so. This is a role for you if you love being an EA in a fast-paced environment!
YOUR BACKGROUND
- You must have worked for a private equity firm or management consultancy.

- Be strong to make decisions and push back when needed
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy while working at pace
- Advanced ability with Microsoft Outlook and ideally other MS packages
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
- Higher than average market rate annual salary
- Discretionary performance related bonus
- Parking space / travel paid for
- Money for wellness / discounted fitness club membership
- Pension scheme - BVV
- 30 days' holiday plus public holidays
