Key Responsibilities:

Designing and assessing various bridge structures within the highways sector
Checking and verifying the engineering work of other team members
Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations
Participating in site visits as needed
Preparing and reviewing technical reports and documentation
Collaborating with project managers and other engineers to ensure successful project delivery

Job Requirements:

Experience in structural and bridge engineering
Proficiency in design and assessment methodologies
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of industry standards and regulations
A relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Chartership is not required but is advantageous
This contract role offers the opportunity to work predominantly remotely, with necessary site visits throughout the duration of the contract. If you have the expertise and are available to contribute to projects up to a six-month period, we want to hear from you.
