Junior On-Site IT Support Engineer

• Hourly Rate: £16.19 per hour (PAYE) or £20 per hour (Umbrella)
• Location: Nottingham
• Job Type: Temporary (Potential for Permanent)

We are seeking a Junior On-Site IT Support Engineer for immediate temporary cover due to staff illness. This is initially a short-term position with the potential to develop into a permanent role for the right candidate as our business continues to grow. The engineer must be based within travelling distance of PO7 and surrounding areas.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide on-site IT support and user troubleshooting.
• Handle hardware setup and perform basic diagnostics.
• Assist with networking tasks including routers, switches, and WiFi setups.
• Support helpdesk ticketing system and resolve client issues.
• Maintain professional client communication and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable travelling to client sites.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic hands-on IT support experience.
• Willingness to learn and work independently.

Desirable:

• MSP or field-support experience.
• DBS/CRB clearance (or willingness to obtain).
