Director of Payroll & HR Technology


Insurance, Employee Benefits, Payroll and HR Technology company is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable candidate to lead the Payroll and HR Technology department.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in the Payroll and HR Technology field, with experience using multiple systems, providing excellent customer service as well as managing staff.


In addition to implementing and overseeing department policies, procedures and compliance, you will be responsible for assisting new clients establish payroll and HRIS/HRMS services. This includes pre-sales demonstrations, implementations, as well as provide ongoing support to our existing clients.

This position requires an extensive background in payroll, including but not limited to:


• Setting up new states and local tax jurisdictions


• Understanding of garnishments and workers compensation audits


• Knowledge of wage and hour regulations, including time off and accrual policies


• Quarterly/Year End Reporting


• Knowledge of COVID-related state and federal programs and tax credits as they relate to payroll


Just as important, you must have knowledge of HRIS/HRMS systems. Knowledge with Kronos & listed modules is necessary.

This position will work closely with our Leadership Team and will have measurables and deliverables around developing the department.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Sales Force, Outlook, Mpay and Kronos helpful
