Office Manager (Events) needed to be based in Southend.

Please note:

• Full-time - Office based
• Monday - Thursday 9am–5pm - Friday 9am-3pm.
• Based in Southend-on-Sea so you must live near to the office.

Job Purpose:

My client is looking for a confident, capable Office Manager to keep their growing team organised, efficient and moving forward. To work in a vibrant busy office.

You’ll be the operational heartbeat of the office — making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so the wider team can shine.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day office operations
• Liaising with external accountants and suppliers
• Managing invoices, expenses and financial tracking
• Supporting team coordination and workflow
• Assisting with the organisation of events (from logistics to supplier management)
• Keeping systems, CRM and company documents in order.
• Looking after the apprentice.

What my client is looking for:

• Proven experience in Office Management, (ideally you will come from an Events background but not a deal breaker)
• A good understanding of finances, invoices, expenses etc…
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator who can manage multiple priorities
• Proactive and solutions-focused
