Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Electrical Engineer based in Hartlepool. The Electrical Engineer should have extensive experience in SSOW/EHS. Reporting to the Global Leader the role will be site based and will be to manage SSOW authorisations.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

To ensure compliance is met by following the correct process for the nomination and subsequent authorisation of all our project workforce.

Collect, review, and process the nomination requests from technician line management.

Responsible for the preparation, and coordination of successful authorisation panels. Acting as group leader to the panel members throughout the authorisation panels.

Provide constructive detailed feedback and offering clear guidance to all nominees and fellow panel members immediately following all panels and onwards.

Ensure that all authorisation panel documentation and certification is signed by all panel attendees, packaged, stored, and made available to the projects.

Point of contact for all stakeholders with nomination/authorisation related requests.

Continuous development of the overall authorisation examination practice, taking in to account the variances between UK, EU, and the US.

Assist Global SSoW Leader resolve any ESP SSoW rule breaches.

Assist Global SSoW Leader in the review and audit of the ESP SSoW

Electrical Engineer Details:

Pay: £21.63 PH

Schedule: 40 hour per week (Monday - Friday)

Location: Hartlepool

Electrical Engineer requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience/knowledge

5 years WTG Service/Commissioning experience in electrical systems

5 years WTG Service/Commissioning experience in Safe systems of work, preferably in WTSR

High Voltage experience preferred

EHS experience preferred.
