As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the technical review and evaluation of proposed system upgrades or improvements, including producing detailed technical reports.

*

Assisting in preparing specifications and analysing tenders for medium-sized installation projects (up to £1 million), including project management tasks such as planning, cost control, and procurement coordination.

* Understanding of regulations and standards and keeping up to date with future changes

Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer role:

Proven experience in electrical design within building services.

*

Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.

*

A proactive and organised mindset with the ability to manage deadlines independently or as part of a team.

*

Ideally working towards or interested in gaining chartered status.

*

Commutable to Nottingham.
