Senior RF Engineer

My client who works within the Defence and aviation sectors have an opportunity for a senior RF Engineer to join the dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge RF technologies. The role involves the full product lifecycle—from concept and design to testing, release, and support, focusing on new product development.

Key Responsibilities

RF Design

* RF system architecture and simulation

* Schematic capture, PCB layout

* Design of power amplifiers, filters and antennas

Testing & Support

* Hands-on testing and troubleshooting of prototypes

* Design verification against specifications

* Participation in design reviews and project meetings

Documentation

* Create design packs and technical documentation

* Contribute to technical planning and time/risk estimates

* Lead or participate in design reviews

Experience required:

* Experience as an RF Engineer.

* Familiarity with RF simulation and PCB design tools

* Knowledge of test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers)

* Knowledge of amplifiers, RF filters, analog/digital circuitry

Key information:

* Salary up to £75,000 + benefits

* Hybrid working - 3 days per week in South Northamptonshire

* You must be eligible for SC Clearance
