TeacherActive is seeking dedicated and caring Residential Support Workers to support pupils aged 10-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive residential setting close to Basildon and Chelmsford.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing day-to-day care and support to SEMH pupils in a residential environment
Building positive relationships to promote emotional well-being and independence
Supporting pupils with their daily routines, education, and personal development
Implementing tailored behavior management strategies
Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all residents
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably with SEMH needs
A caring, patient, and resilient attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine desire to help young people achieve their potential
Must be a driver due to the rural location (access to a car is essential)
Qualifications:

Relevant child care, support, or health & social care qualification is desirable but not essential
Valid UK driving license is required
