Accounts Assistant required for a long term temporary assignment working for a well established business based in Birmingham with an immediate start. You will be responsible for allocating payments, reconciling the company bank accounts, updating cashbooks, expenses, purchase ledger and other ad hoc accounting duties.

My client is looking for an experienced accounts assistant who can join the business and hit the ground running. You must be able to work under minimal supervision and have excellent interpersonal skills. You must also have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computerised accounting software.

My client is a well established business based in Birmingham with an open and friendly culture. This will predominantly be a home based role although you will be required to go into the office one day per week. The working hours are 9 to 5.30 Monday to Friday and there maybe the opportunity for a longer term role for the right person
