We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills who is looking to gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Description

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
Support with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as requiredProfile

AAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Competitive hourly rate of £18 to £21.
