Salary: £9.50/hour

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Graphic Designer on temporary to permanent position basis based near Spalding, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Duties will include:
• Following a content brief, design regular features for the company's digital monthly magazines to include: New Members, Special offers, Member features & showcases and how to use our services.
• To create a monthly email to encourage clients and members to read the magazines.
• To create PDF proofs of the magazine and individual pages for primary stakeholders to approve, following proofing and approval procedures and working to deadlines.
• To create JPEGs of individual magazine pages for use in social media.
• To upload and tag digital magazines to the relevant hosting sites.
• To design monthly email campaigns promoting members' special offers to the company's clients.
• Following a brief, to design ad hoc emails such as how to use our services/meet the team.
• To support membership and promote the company's services with the creation of graphics, including animated GIFs, for use on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+
• To work with the Marketing & Social Media Assistant to create, manage and monitor pins on the company's Pinterest accounts.
• Following a brief, to design the company's monthly internal newsletter.
• To provide resized external stakeholders' logos for use on the company's websites.

The successful candidate will have:
• HTML & CSS Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) or Inkscape/Scribus Basic troubleshooting of software.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office/LibreOffice.
• Imaginative, creative and willing to learn and develop skills.
• Good written and verbal communications skills; must be able to receive and react on feedback and be willing to contribute ideas and suggestions for future projects and campaigns.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
• Must be able to follow brand guidelines and have a good eye for attention to detail. Must understand the principles of a responsive website and email design following best practices.
• Must understand colour theory & typography.
• Good organisation skills for digital asset management.
• Must have used a text editor/ide before (e.g. Dreamweaver).
• An interest in accommodation, conferences and travel would be beneficial
