Job Title: Head Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced and organised Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team within our care home.

This is a key role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and infection control are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and supervising the housekeeping team

Creating and managing cleaning schedules

*

Ensuring compliance with infection control and health & safety standards

*

Conducting quality checks and audits

*

Managing stock levels and ordering cleaning supplies

*

Supporting with hands-on cleaning duties when required

What We're Looking For:

Previous housekeeping experience (ideally within a care home or healthcare setting)

*

Experience supervising or leading a team

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

Good understanding of infection control procedures

*

Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
