Your role as the Program Manager will include leading a team of cybersecurity specialists responsible for the security assessment of the Military Sealift Command vessels and systems, liaising with Navy leadership on the status of their cybersecurity, scheduling and planning for the vulnerability assessments of their vessels, and supporting the shipboard Command and Control infrastructure.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership, fantastic communication and coordination skills, and a Secret Clearance. The customer indicates you will need DoD 8570.01M for IAM Level III or equivalent, PMP certification and that you are familiar with Military Instructions. Basic Functional Responsibilities: Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Specific Responsibilities: The PM must have experience briefing upper management and/or upper echelons of military chains of command. The PM shall have experience managing and fielding large projects and have demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills. This experience shall include substantive experience managing contracts deploying and supporting shipboard C4S infrastructure relative to the specific Task Order, as required. The PM shall also be familiar with Military instructions and standards as they pertain to operation of shipboard C4S systems and deployment of both hardware and software. The PM shall have familiarity with the C4S environment, policies, and systems and with the environment, policies, and systems of other Navy/MSC relation organizations/systems
