Job Title: Café Assistant

Reporting to: Café Manager

Responsible for: Assisting the café manager with daily operations while supporting adults with a learning disability in a safe and inclusive environment.

Location: Lisburn

Permanent Job

Salary: £12.70 per hour

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days and 11 statutory days (pro-rata)

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–2:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Support adults with learning disabilities in daily café activities
• Handle stock control and assist with deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Empathy and understanding of working with individuals with learning disabilities
