Trust Tax Manager - Private Client Services

We are currently working with a prestigious professional services firm that is looking to appoint a Trust Manager to join their growing Private Client team. This is a unique opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to professional trustees and beneficiaries, working on a portfolio of predominantly UK family trust structures with occasional exposure to international aspects.

The successful candidate will play a central role in managing stakeholder relationships, offering practical advice on income forecasting and distributions, and overseeing the day-to-day trust administration and compliance processes.

• Client Engagement: Be the primary point of contact for trustees, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders. Resolve queries with empathy and professionalism.

• Technical Advice: Apply your strong understanding of UK trust taxation to provide practical and accurate advice to clients.

• Forecasting & Distribution Planning: Advise on available income, forecast expenses, and coordinate income and capital distributions across a range of trusts.

• Compliance Oversight: Review trust accounts and tax returns to ensure full compliance, including oversight of charitable trust governance.

• Collaboration: Liaise with investment advisors, legal counsel, and internal teams to ensure smooth administration and strategic planning.

• CTA, ACA, STEP-qualified (or equivalent international qualification).

• A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.

• Practical experience in UK trust and individual taxation.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability, with a solid grasp of risk management.

• Comfortable reviewing financial documents and managing complex trust structures.
