Our client based in Banbury is looking for an experienced Punch Press Operative to join their team. As a Punch Press Operative you would assist in loading machinery and working on press machinery with the forge department within the business.

Hours of work will be 5 day week; Mon - Thurs 7am - 4pm, Fri 7am - 3pm

Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include:

* Assist on component operations within the forge department

* Loading of materials and components into forge / press machinery

* Carry out visual checks on machined parts and ensure they are to a satisfactory standard

To be successful in the role of a Punch Press Operative you will hold the following skills and experience;

* Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment

* Understanding of reading and interpreting instructions

* Good communicator and a "can do" attitude"

* An attention to detail and able to work meticulously
