Futures Manufacturing are working with one of the largest manufacturer and distributers in the UK within their respective field. Due to a period of continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Production Manager who has worked within a fast-paced high volume manufacturing environment and is used to implementing lean strategies while working to ISO standards.

Previous work experience in a lean manufacturing environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of continuous improvement. The Production Manager ultimately chosen for this role will come from a custom manufacturing background be able to run a team of 45+ skilled workers.

Manage a small team of semi-skilled and skilled operatives.
Implement lean strategies.
Understanding of ISO standard
Work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ensure a safe working environment is paramount.
Manage, sickness, disciplinarians, and bereavements.
Oversee projects from start to finish managing stakeholders during the process.
Reduce downtime of machinery
Ensure production levels are in line with targets and client expectations.
