Staff Nurse – £20 per hour | Day Shifts, 33 Hours per week | Dementia & Nursing Care | Good CQC

Our client, a well-respected and friendly nursing home with a Good CQC rating, is looking for an experienced Staff Nurse (Days) to join their growing team. The service provides high-quality nursing and dementia care in a warm, welcoming environment where residents are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC pin
• Solid clinical skills, including catheter management, wound care, and medication handling
• Previous experience in a nursing home or elderly care environment (desirable but not essential)
• A calm, compassionate approach with excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Someone who is comfortable working autonomously during day shifts and making confident clinical decisions

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering person-centred nursing care to residents with a range of complex health needs, including dementia
• Carrying out and overseeing clinical procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing, and medication administration
• Working collaboratively with care staff to ensure continuity of care throughout the day
• Monitoring residents’ conditions and responding swiftly to any changes
• Ensuring accurate documentation in line with regulatory and company standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff where needed
