Remit:

* Fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer with a strong background in automation systems and robotics integration to join a forward thinking company on an upward curve

* The successful Project Engineer will be responsible for the safe delivery of engineering and automation projects to specification, on time and within budget

* This position will suit an experienced Project Engineer with strong working knowledge of injection moulding processes, machinery and automation equipment

Role:

* In the role of Project Engineer you will be responsible for the safe delivery of engineering projects to specification, budget and schedule

* As Project Engineer you will ensure all machinery & installations are safe, compliant and supported by up-to-date technical files

* Work closely with Account Managers, Quality & Production Engineers to ensure smooth asset introduction

* Ensure site-wide project visibility from kick off to close

* Support feasibility, cost & timing reports to support new enquiries

* Champion and enhance departmental documented processes & promote adherence. IATF16949 and ISO14001

* Drive continuous improvement both within your department and out on the shopfloor.

* Effectively coordinate areas of responsibility, with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

* Create and complete necessary documentation for the work undertaken.

* Support operational initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring housekeeping and quality standards are maintained.

* Demonstrate high level H&S awareness and provide safety leadership within sphere of influence

Experience Requirements:

* HND or Degree qualification in an Engineering discipline

* Proven background in electrical and mechanical design, robot integration & automated processes

* Good understanding of PLC, motion & modern protocols

* Knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery a big plus

* Ability to work under own initiative

* Proven experience carrying out mechanical / electrical installations

* Experience in fault finding on factory plant and machinery

* Electrical safety qualifications

* Project management experience
