About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is delighted to work with a trusted provider of specialised care and education services to recruit a Senior Support Worker for a children's residential home in Loughborough. This service supports young people with Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and Autism. Join a caring team dedicated to creating a supportive, nurturing environment where young people can thrive and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care, including personal care and medication administration, tailored to each young person's needs.

  • Mentor and guide support workers, setting a positive example to maintain exceptional care standards.

  • Create a warm, safe home environment that fosters growth, recovery, and confidence.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with young people to support their emotional and social development.

  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to provide therapeutic, individualised care.

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture that empowers every child to succeed.

About You

  • Essential:

    • Minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential setting.

    • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent).

    • Full UK Driving Licence.

    • A caring, resilient, and adaptable approach with a passion for supporting young people.

    • Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.

    • Experience in a senior or mentoring role in a care setting.

    • Knowledge of supporting young people with disabilities or autism.
